Our philosophy is a testimony to our belief that winemaking starts in the vineyard. Rio Seco planted thirty-one acres in the spring of 1997 to traditional Paso Robles Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon, but additionally planted Syrah, Cab Franc, Roussanne, and a test block of Viogner and Merlot...all in all, a winemakers delight!

The Hinkles have realized that there exists unlimited potential for excellence and uniqueness for Rio Seco wines. Implementing a philosophy of natural fermentation, no additives in the wines, and of course, starting with the best fruit possible, give high hopes for making Rio Seco a respected name on the Central Coast for fine wines.

Conditions of purchase

Wines must be delivered to an address where an individual of at least 21years of age is available to sign for the delivery regular during business hours.

Wines cannot be shipped to a PO Box.

Out of state shipping is $27.00 per case.

Currently wine can be shipped to a limited number of states. Contact the winery if you have questions.
